Dominia was formed (as Tentamentum) in Russian city Saint-Petersburg in February 1999 by vocalist and composer Anton Rosa
and guitarist Denis Sukharev (Daniel).
Initially, the band professed typical for that time, black-death metal, but in September 2001 Tentamentum changed its' name and genre.

On ne frappe pas un homme à terre : c'est ce que dit la règle mais NONE a déjà prouvé qu'il ne les suivait pas et si son album éponyme retirait toute perspective de béatitude spirituelle, Life has gone on long enough, son deuxième opus, nous interdit l'accès au bonheur terrestre. La vie n'a aucune substance et la production plus distante le confirme. Le DSBM s'empare de textures sonores blues, mettant en relief une dépression urbaine. Les cris partent en fumées : ne restent que les pleurs...

Australian Melodic Death Metal. Definitely one of their best! I have been following them practically from the start & these guys can do no wrong! I have everything of their but I need it on bandcamp too... :) As Kobina already said, I want this on my deathbed too - hell, I want it at my funeral also! Unbelievably good music! FFO Insomnium & Omnium Gatherum & the like. Highly recommended!!!
